The primary reason for sealing one’s concrete pavers is to inhibit the loss of color. Pavers are pigmented artificially and tend to fade with time. Sealing them not only enhances the color but provides UV protection against fading. The added benefits are ease of cleaning, stain and water repellency and bonding of the sand in the joints.  This improves both appearance as well as property value.
